On Ramp Class
Your first 2 weeks will consist of 6 classes covering the 9 foundational movements in crossfit. No matter your athletic ability it is always important to review the basics. This is not to insult anyone but yet to give you a better understanding and breakdown of the movements. In crossfit we use functional movements meaning, movements we use in everyday life. Have you ever picked something up off the ground? Have you ever sat down in a chair and stood up? Chances are we all have and unknowingly performed the deadlift and squat!
During these first 2 weeks we will breakdown movements and later apply them in a specified WOD ( Workout Of Day ), all together as a class with coaches to help and motivate you every step of the way. Not ready to tackle a WOD as RX (prescribed weight and movements). No worries, remember that CrossFit is for everyone and the coaches will be there to help scale the weight and movements to help you progress at your natural pace. Remember Fitness For Life!
