I am an Active Duty Marine stationed in Fort Worth.  As a Marine we are required to always be "Combat Ready" and in a high state of physical and mental preparedness.  My pursuit of fitness didnt stop there and it led me to CrossFit.  Since my first WOD I have grown a deep passion for CrossFit and their Methodology.  My goal is to share that passion with others and to help them pursue their fitness goals, be it a stay at home mom looking to keep up with everday life, or a grandparent looking to enjoy their grandchildren, even athletes that are looking for the next level of Elite Athletisicm.

I am a full time accountant by day and a passionate CrossFitter by night. I was introduced to the world of Crossfit in early 2010 and knew that this was a great community and I wanted to be apart of it. Without hesitation, I pursued the CrossFit Level 1 certification, not to be a coach, but to better myself. I went on this journey not knowing where I would end up but it has changed me physically, mentally and spiritually. This is not my job, it is my life and passion. Since joining the Marine Corps in 1995, fitness has been an integral part of my life.  Prior to my introduction to Crossfit's methodology, this was mostly achieved by performing non functional isolated movements at your average "globo gym".  Although I always met the standards required of me as a Marine, I was never truly satisfied with my overall fitness.

 

This all changed in June of 2011 when a fellow Marine introduced me to CrossFit.  I was hooked! I instantly embraced the methodology and found my fitness escalating to previously unimaginable levels.

 

As a new CrossFit Level 1 Trainer my goal is to help other achieve a better quality of life through fitness.  We are all at a different place on our journey; my goal is to help others make positive progress each and every day along that path which will lead to a stronger, healthier, and more fit lifestyle.

 

If I am not at the Box, you will find me with my other passion, my family.  My wife and two daughters bring encouragement and inspiration into my life.  They encourage me to chase my dreams and inspire me to be a better person.
